WestGen is a clean energy development company bringing together a highly experienced team and a portfolio of advanced power projects in Western Australia. Taking advantage of Western Australia’s growing need for energy and the high costs of conventional power, WestGen is well placed to develop, build and operate a number of clean energy power stations across the State.

WestGen is developing some of the best solar and biomass projects in the State, carefully selecting prime locations with good access to grids, customers and good fuel resource. WestGen intends to take its projects through to construction and operation to become a major supplier of clean energy in WA.

WestGen directors have had leading roles in the development and financing of over 2,000 MW of power projects in Australia including the 320 MW NewGen Kwinana CCGT Power Station (WA), 330 MW gas-fired NewGen Neerabup Power Station (WA), 90 MW Alinta Wind Farm (WA), 240 MW Lake Bonney Wind Farm (SA), 450 MW Braemar Gas Power station (QLD) and 640 MW Uranquinty Gas Power station (NSW).
